My lawn was sprayed with pesticides, and the company left a sign not to take a dog onto the lawn until the pesticides were dry. Does anyone know how long that usually takes?
Update:Ended up calling the company, and they told me it takes about an hour before the pesticides dry, and then they are safe and pose no danger. Appreciate the responses.

The drying time would depend on the pesticide and weather conditions. Call the company that applied it and ask them.
You can tell if it's dry just by looking at it. I'd give it a day though if you can. If your lawn was sprayed with a broadleaf weed herbicide, take great care in removing the grass clippings after you mow. I had a friend who's dog died after eating off of a pile of raked up grass clippings after he used Weed-Be-Gone.
