i want to get an early 2000 model for around $5,000.
It all depends on how well the previous owners maintained the car in the past rom the beginning. If done properly about 200k miles or more.
Just got a 2001 Chevy impala with 215,000 miles. Runs great
i had an 04 that i put a lot of miles on for about 3 yrs and it never had any major issues except the water pump went out so the heat didn't blow hot unless i was pushing on the gas other than that it should be a decent car to get.
$5000 is a lot for that type of car and that age. You should be aiming for about a 2004/2005 for that price.
