I'm someone who travel's A LOT.
So I wake up at 4 am, I cleanse my skin and tone and all the good things.
At around 5 am, I apply a zinc SPF UVA/UVB sunscreen of SPF 30.
Now, I have light skin.
And I have been told this last me 5 hours.
Over the top, I wear a light BB cream of SPF 15, But i'm well aware to not reply on my make-up being my main support from the sun.
I catch a train at 6:00 am, arrive at my destination at 9 am.
In that time, if sun screen last five hours my sunscreen is almost gone.
And I still have the entire day to go until I travel home at 8:30 PM.
Now because I've already applied BB cream and sunscreen and concealer I understand that I need to touch up every few hours, but how to I manage that?
If I'm not taking off my BB cream, how can I ensure that my sun protection last? With summer coming up, I want to be better prepared.

The time sunscreen lasts depends on its SPF factor; there is a bit more information about that at the link below. However, 5 hours is far more than you'd reasonably expect from any sunscreen. Also, importantly, sunscreen cannot be used to extend the amount of time you'd normally spend in the sun. At most, sunscreen might protect you for 2-3 hours if applied properly and regularly.
The best protection is, quite simply to stay out of the sun. When you're inside, your UV exposure is reduced (if you spend a long time near a window that is in direct sunlight, you may still be somewhat exposed, but otherwise generally not).
You haven't said if you're inside or not when you get to your destination at 9. If you're primarily indoors for that time, you're safe from the sun at its most intense, which is important. The most dangerous time sun-wise is 10-3, give or take, so this is the best time to stay indoors. If you're inside during that time, and aren't out in the sun the rest of the time, you probably don't need to take any extra precautions apart from that and are unlikely to benefit from them.
Sunscreen will reduce your UV exposure and is a useful precaution to take if you're in the sun for an extended period of time. But ideally, staying out of the sun is a better approach.
Normally sunscreen needs reapplying every 2 - 3 hours.
If you are only spending a short time in the sun it is probably easier to just wear a shady hat.
Im super pale almost see through. I went to Florida this summer with my girlfriend, her family, and their italian friends. I was the only one not burnt. What I did was reapply every 2-3 hours everywhere or if I was in the water. It sounds tedious but its not that big of a hassle. The spf your using seems good enough and you may not have to reapply as often as I do. I wish you the best of luck!
I don't know, but reapply every 2 hours.
