Do condoms usually break? do they ever slide off? If i have rough sex, what are the chances of me getting pregnant without birth control? please need answers as soon as possible
Infrequently with proper use. Generally if it breaks or falls off, you are doing something wrong.
To minimize breakage, make sure you are using the correct size, that they are not old and use a water-based/condom safe lubricant. They can take "rough" use, but not if they are dry.
To help it stay on, apply the lube only to the "tip", not around the base where it should some what seal and stay in place. They also tend to go missing more often in female on top positions, so just pay a bit of attention to it. To be certain it is secure, the condom wearer should hold on the the base of the condom on when pulling out and changing positions.
If your concern is pregnancy (over STDs), keep a package of emergency contraception on hand in case you have a break. It's effectiveness in pregnancy prevention is related to how long after the broken condom/other slip up you take it, that is why it is important to have beforehand. I don't know where you are located, but if you are over 17 you can buy it without a prescription in a drugstore or online.
Condoms do break so you have to make sure you make sure it has no sides with lighter circles because it is a break in the lining and they only slide off if you get the base and its loose i know a friend who slipped it off [it was loose] and had to fish it out Rough sex is about the same chance since its faster and takes less time
When there is too much air inside the condom. Sometimes when the guy puts on the condom, some air slips in which you can see clearly on the tip. Too much thrusting can cause the condom to "break." Ive never had a condom break on me while having sex. Just slip it on right.
Its usually the person making the mistake not the condom.. i know for a fact that i can stick a condom on my arm and move my fingers around.. but they can break if your using oil lubricants if the condom is old and the lube has dried or if its been in the heat but in most cases have 2 handy because my fiance and i were going to use one for anal and he opened it and it just split into pieces.

Condoms break 93% of the time. Abstinence is the only 100% effective option
They break very often. Like 80% of the time. i don't think they slide off.
