I sometimes have a feeling of deja vu but its not just deja vu i'm pretty sure i've dreamt the scenes that play out later. When they happen i can remember being asleep. But its not like the dreams are anything special just snipits of conversation or someone putting a hat on. I was researching precognition and how to control it but all the people who have this seem to have visions during the day. Any advice on how to control this?

Wake up to the fact that precognition does not exist.
Precognition definitely exists but I don't think you can control it. It has happened to me quite a few times where spontaneously I have seen or knew something beforehand, & even though I recognized the significance at the time, when I looked back I realized I had no control on why or how it occurred. Unlike you where you dream the scenes that play out later, mine just tend to be instantaneous recognitions of events as they happen at the time, where I say to myself I have visualized this scene before. I am sure you will agree that these precognitions we have are so powerful that there is no element of doubt & we are really looking at something we already knew about. Good luck & I also wish there was some way to control it, but I think its a "natural" ability that only a few people have !
You can't and shouldn't control precognition. I used to have precognitive dreams, and usually when my blood sugar was low. One of those dreams became quite true 32 or 33 years later, down to the angle sunlight falling through upstairs master bedroom window to the layout of the furniture and boxes of guest bedroom study. If no one can have precognitive abilities, how do you explain that? Check the archives of the Oklahoma City commercial TV stations Oct 9 - 11, 2000. I gave interviews to all of them after there was a fatal fire in the apartment next door to mine that I shared a wall with. I was always worried/suspicious about one particular log on their woodpile ever since I moved in 25 months before.
Since I've gone through menopause, most of my precognitive events have been "flashes" while I'm fully conscious, but I still have the occasional low bed sugar precog dream. The last one has me worried about Laura Bush's current state of health.
Good observational skills and knowledge about a wide variety of subjects is almost as good as a precognitive talent, but it is definitely not the same thing.
memorize poetry. Then practise composing poetry. when you have memorized and composed dozens of poems, you will be able to control your precognition.
And of course precognition exists-- it just means thinking something is going to happen before it does. It's a normal and common part of the human (or probably even animal) thought process. Sometimes it's stronger than others.
Did you come to know how to control them in past 7 years? If yes, Can you tell me? I have exact same thing.
Keep a dream journal.
