If you don't want to look so dark in the summer, then be diligent about using a sunblock. Exfoliating essentially means rubbing off the top layer of skin cells, and as a coloration changing method it's a very poor substitute. There is no way you could rub all your skin an equal amount (which could lead to streaks,) and you could easily rub yourself raw and invite infection.
Use the sunblock, re-apply it every two hours, and use good sense about sun exposure. (Don't want to look pruney in 30 years.)
It depends on are natural skin color. If your fair skin or light skin its quicker to get your natural skin color. If your tan to dark skin it can rake years. Avoid talking hot showers, apply vitamin e everyday to repeat skin and start talking vitamins. Seems crazy but it works. Also, advice your doctor before you take vitamins and your parents. Hope this helps.
if you exfoliate wouldnt you have to exfoliate your whole body? try some aloe lotion or lotion designed for sunburn they have lol and use sunblock
