how to mend delicate cotton dress?
I have this really delicate, thin cotton dress i got at a thrift shop. it was torn a bit at one of the seems n i was wondering how i should mend it. i feel like sewing might be to harsh. any recommendations?

Kim, that is something you will have to be extra cautious about fixing. Your best course of action would be to sew it, but if you are inexperienced you may need to perform some research. This video has helped me find what I need.

Is the seam broken? If so, restitch it.
Is the fabric torn? If so, it probably will need a patch. Without seeing the garment or at least a good photo of the damaged area, there's not much anyone can really tell you specifically.
