So on my face I keep noticing that I have pretty big pores. Are there any home remedies preferably? I'll buy ANY product though if that's what it takes. Thanks so much.
Apple cider toner has to be diluted with water before you use it as a toner, and don't add green tea unless you know it's not going to upset your skin. ACV is VERY harsh, it HAS to be diluted. 1 part ACV to like 3 or 4 part water, and if you need to, THEN you increase the amount of vinegar but you probably won't need to. The idea is NOT to burn your skin with it.
Teenagers can indeed use egg white masks. Just don't use the yolk it commonly breaks people out. :)
Oily skin naturally has larger pores. The only thing that helps is keeping them clean. Dirty pores look larger, too. Perhaps something you're using on your face is clogging them.
Primer does help if you wear makeup. It creates a barrier against your skin and the makeup. It's worth spending money on a good one.
Ice is also pointless, it only works for a few mins and once your face gets room temp they're right back where they were.
I had good luck with Murad's T-Zone pore refining gel but it's super expensive and not realistic to use on a regular basis. Again, it doesn't work for a super long period of time but when I used the sample I got my mom asked me what makeup I was wearing. (I don't wear makeup it was a real compliment lol)
They say its impossible to reduce them permanently. *sigh* because i suffer from the same.
From experience i can advise you- 1part apple cider vinegar mixed with 1 part green tea, you can use this mixture as a toner or freeze it in ice trays and apply when you've come back from an exhaustive day. This has really helped me.
Then we have the egg white mask. You can mix egg white with corn flour which acts like tightening mask. Like REALLY tightening but if you're young (in your teens) then dont use it.
i know the make up gurus say use a primer to hide pores but please avoid it because that is what gave me large pores i noticed them because they had increased in size considerably. i rarely use a primer any more.
Mud packs help tightening temporarily too. Freeman's Oatmeal mask does a good job
rubbing ice is also a temporary solution but if your lucky it might help reduce them a little permanently if you clean your pores regularly.
and by cleaning i mean getting regular face clean ups etc.
