I have a windows vista laptop that I want to dual boot XP on. The problem is, i can't use the dvd because my drive is broken. How could I transfer Xp from my desktop computer to the laptop without a cd? (Could I put the windows folder on a flash drive or something???)

You could do that. Or, if both computers have bluetooth and/or wireless, send them via a ad-hoc OR a bluetooth network. If you dont know how to do that, simply http://www.google.com/ it or search it in http://www.youtube.com/ Email me at [email protected] if you for some reason can't find how to do it.
Your going to need to put the Windows Setup in the Flash drive, you also need to make a partition for Windows XP, so you won't lose data from Windows Vista.

You can google search for more easier guides on how to partition.
