Hello, I'm a 14 year-old Senior High School Student in the Philippines and I'm the editor-in-chief of our school newspaper...
My forte is Feature Writing, our adviser said I should write a travelogue on my journey in the USA last 2008... and it's due tomorrow !
2008! I'm only 11 then and I obviously can't remember everything. I can't even remember the places we've gone to with my family...but those facts aren't the problem, I've interviewed my sis about it and she remembers
the places we've gone to aren't anything really special, we didn't stay in hotels or eat in restaurants, they were all road trips! we didn't go to famous tourist spots because it was just a family vacation trip and we didn't have much time to check places plus I stayed there for only 3 months! so what can i say in my travelogue?
the truth is, I don't know how to write a travelogue. How do I start it? Shall i write it like a diary, like every step i took? but it would be too long and i don't have much time, how can i shortcut it? What are good things to say? How can I make the readers feel what I've felt? How can I make it short but interesting and NOT boring...
and for example, I went to different places and even went to Canada to see Niagara Falls since we're very near, we're from MI. so on each travel i make in the US, will I create a sub-topic?
=I can't even remember the feelings I had when I got there, it's my first time traveling and going to USA but it's so long ago that I just can't feel it anymore=
why does it have to be due tomorrow?? when i don't know what the heck i'll do!
please helpppp asap!!! very much appreciated!

Writing a travelogue includes detailed information about travel. Travelogue writing is most effective accompanied by illustrations such as photographs or brochures. Some magazines that buy travel articles welcome travel literature or travelogues. Give travel advice in an essay-type structure, telling a story about your journey.
