I'm a young writer and have been told by many, many people that my potential is unbelievable. I have plenty of ideas for stories, but I need help on piecing everything together. Any tips on how to write well (nothing grammar or spelling-wise), strategies for tying everything together, foreshadowing help? Anything that you think would be of assistance, please. Thanks :)

When writing a book, the most efficient way to process thoughts would be on a word document such as Microsoft Word. This will create easy access to writing and brainstorming.
Write down your idea. If you're writing a book about how Darth Vader kills Hitler, write that down.
Begin to develop the book. To do this, you can use index cards and write down each idea as it pops into your mind. At the end of one month, assemble the cards and try to type up the summary of what you plan to write in bullets, going in chronological order.
At this point, try to come up with your character names. For main characters, the meaning of the name should reflect the character. If a character was shy and naive, try to find an interesting name that means innocent. You can look at any fiction book and find that the names do reflect the character.
Begin writing confidently and swiftly. Let your creative juices flow as you write those beautiful sentences. You may want to chunk your writing into many different deadlines so you stay on task.
When you have finished writing the manuscript, go back and edit and revise. Let someone read it, then, if you want, find a publisher.
Tips:
Writer's Block is not cured with time, time makes it progress. The more time you spend avoiding writing, the more you begin to dread your book. Draw pictures of your main characters. Let your friend read it and tell you where she sees the book going. Revisit what brought you the inspiration to write the book.
Use good writing skills, as any writer would. Be creative. Be imaginary.
Go back to your brainstorming and see if you have included everything and everything has turned out the way you would have liked.
Seek help when needed. Once your book is published, it will be in the eyes of the people, so make sure the people will enjoy it by letting them read some.
After you have finished writing the book, go back and rewrite the beginning, because most likely more things have changed as you began writing it and it won't make sense anymore. Don't worry if the first couple chapters are completely different. Praise yourself for being creative and having an imagination.
Good luck! It takes a lot to write a whole fiction book, but you did it. Keep an open mind when it comes to publishing.
Warnings:
Do not lose interest. If you have, re-visit where you found inspiration to write the book.
Never quit.
Don't fall for publishing scams.
Sorry little one but becoming a writer is more than just "unbelievable potential."
Why do we understand that to become a good musician yo need to practice, but we think writing should just come naturally?
Grab a copy of Writer's Digest from your local book store or magazine rack and start reading. Every issue will help you with some aspect of your writing.
Next, read. Read everything on everything. Learn how experienced writers use language to express their thoughts, emotions, and ideas. Read dime store crap, and the greatest novels in western civilization. Read it all. Read every night before you go to bed.
Next, learn your craft. Take courses and study the use of grammar and language (yes, AND spelling). Take a poetry class. Yea, boring as heck, but true poetry (not this modern stuff) will teach you how to use language to paint a scene. And get a word a day calender. You need to know a lot of words if you are going to be using them. And be sure your classes are taught by tight-a$$es. You want hard critiques of your work. This is the time to learn, not be pampered. If you just want to be pampered then give your stories to your mom. She'll kiss you on the forehead and put your story on the refrigerator. But no one else will ever see them.
Finally, write. That's right, write.
Everyone wants to be a writer, but no one wants to do the work involved. If you want to be a writer then you have to write something every day. Write about anything, but write.
Good luck.
Hey there! Try keeping a journal with you at all times. That helps you keep track of upcoming ideas as well as your thoughts. And sometimes its good to imagine and to think outside the box. But remember your writing is what makes you unique. No one will value your writing unless and if you do so. So I hope I helped and you can always refer to the link below. (:
