You don't have to be skinny to suffer from anorexia or be bulimic. That's is a misconception.

"An eating disorder primarily affecting adolescent girls and young adult women, characterized by a pathological fear of becoming fat, distorted body image, excessive dieting, and emaciation. No loss of appetite occurs until the late stages of the disease"
"Insatiable overeating as a medical condition, in particular

An eating disorder in which a large quantity of food is consumed in a short period of time, often followed by feelings of guilt or shame

You don't have to be skinny to suffer from this. Just suffer from those symptoms/conditions.
'EDNOS' involves disordered eating patterns and is described in a category of disorders of eating that do not meet the criteria for any specific eating disorder.
As for Anorexia, generally an observation of physical symptoms and a personal history will quickly confirm the diagnosis of anorexia. The standard criteria for diagnosing anorexia nervosa are:
The patient's refusal to maintain a body weight normal for age and height. Intense fear of becoming fat even though underweight. A distorted self-image that results in diminished self-confidence. Denial of the seriousness of emaciation and starvation.
Just because someone suffers from anorexia nervosa/bulimia doesn't mean their going to be really thin. If you don't eat for a long period of time, your body actually starts to get the nutrition it needs from the body itself. So your body practically eats itself.

when demi was 11 until i think 13 she used to eat one meal a day and then it was 2meals a week and then when she was 14 she started throwing up
She was very skinny at one point. About 25 pounds lighter than she is now, and she's not fat now.
Maybe she wasn't good at it...like, she'd throw up sometimes, but not every time. Or something, I don't know, ask her!
You don't actually have to be pencil thin to be anorexic
Maybe she said that cuz she didnt feel like eating.
