better but not by much. the eagles have a small window to win with the giants and redskins being youngry. Giving up Asante for next to nothing frees up cap space and allows Cromartie to take an outside receiver. Lesean Mccoy would love to repeat his fantastic year but people struggle to realize how much Jason Peters meant to him. Now that hes out and Michael Vick is a year older, i predict 9-7
I can't say I like their chances of winning the East, but I here are my predictions:
1. W, 23-21
2. L, 20-26
3. W, 27-24
4. L, 17-35
5. L, 33-38
6. L, 28-42
7. L, 12-19
8. L, 24-49
9. W, 44-10
10. W, 32-20
11. L, 21-27 OT
12. W, 38-24
13. W, 10-7
14. W, 17-14 OT
15. W, 29-19
16. L, 31-34
I see a tough start, just 2-6 to begin the first 8. A tough stretch as I see a bad streak of 5 on the losing end. However, I predict a very strong finish and push into the next season, with a complete flip at 6-2. The Eagles are one of the teams that will play the bulk of their big-time matchups in the first few games, with teams like the Ravens and Giants in their path.
Again, tough season, but strong finish. They will build this year.
I looked at their schedule and I see the Eagles going 6-10. If Vick gets hurt then maybe the backup can lead the Eagles to an addition win, or two, but ultimately the Eagle will fall far short of the playoffs. On the bright side this terrible season for the Eagles might convince the organization and owner to make some serious changes like firing the head coach and getting a new QB for the future. With Reid and Vick the Eagles will always be pretenders and will never seriously contend for a Super Bowl. Reid makes to many questionable decisions as a head coach. Vick continues to lack accuracy and continues to make poor decisions where he has no clue how to go through his progression of receivers.

If Vick can stay healthy, and they play as a team, then they can go about 10-6, finishing second in the division and getting the 6th seed.
