It is real and some people can master it , I astral projected by accident the first time suffering vertigo I tried to control the spinning sensation and lived out of my body in real time , did it a few times last time went up as hard as I could into black space and stars panicked slammed back down not pleasant , dangerous can be , gave me faith in life after death I think that is all it is good for, proved soul can survive outside the body would not have missed it , turns out the spinning thing is one way the masters do it.

Yes it is dangerous. Astral projection is usually only made possible by some level of demonic power. They are the ones who link the spirit and soul to make astral projection possible. In a sense when you leave your body to astral project it is like leaving your home with the door open…. Bad spirits can come in.

Many who have astral projected talk about encounters with demons! Go to any astral projection discussion forum and you will find that they often say that the practice is very dangerous and that there are evil spirits out there.

Many who have astral projected have described a thin silver cord attaching their spirit to their body. If this cord is ever severed, the person will die. This fits what the book of Ecclesiastes says in chapter 12:

So if one was to astral project and travel too far or long there is a chance that silver cord could break. I have heard of some people who practiced astral projection and died from it.

It is a glitch of brain chemistry. Usually hypnopompic or hypnagogic hallucinations. Science sees it as only a natural phenomenon, common in the population .. and not an indication of any actual projection nor of specialness.

Scientifically speaking, the experience of "divinity" is the result of increasing activity in the right hemisphere or your brain while simultaneously decreasing activity in the left hemisphere. This is common in all cultures, across all centuries. Whether or not it is MORE than just a brain-activity is not known, but it is known that at the very least there is a physiological explanation for religious, spiritual, and psychic "phenomenon", and it may be nothing more than brain activity.

Eastern traditions say that fools rush in where angels fear to tread .. that only spiritual masters who have achieved wisdom and are no longer swayed by their ego/selfness are safe when pursuing things like astral projection.

And that even these sages/masters don't care about projection, nor use it except when it is necessary to help someone and nothing else will suffice. They don't use it for entertainment, for selfish purposes, nor to boost their self-esteem.

Go see a psychiatrist, and claim you can astral project on command. Show them that it can be done, and ask them to write a peer reviewed paper on it.

I did it once, but it was involuntary. I saw myself from outside and everything in the room was exactly as it was in the real world at that very moment. I was scared when I was back. I thought I was going to die or something so I couldn't sleep that night. I don't think you can do it voluntarily, so yours are probably just lucid dreams.
