i have an insignia d400a, intel extreme graphics card?

Without meaning to be rude... that won't be able to play games, even after putting in a top of the range graphics card.
You could eaisly get a computer with twice that performance for less than $500US - though it would still struggle to play games.
If you want to play games as more than just a passing fancy/intrest, I suggest you invest the money, and buy a whole new computer.
