16x^2=y
x^2/9 + y^2/16 = 1 ------> this one is a hyperbola, right?
y^2/25 - x^2 = 1
I asked this before in mathematics section but no answers, please explain this to me.....
16x^2=y.....parabola opening upward.
x^2/9 + y^2/16 = 1....ellipse centered at origin (0, 0)
y^2/25 - x^2 = 1 ........hyperbola opening upward
............................... hyperbola opening downward
................vertexes at: (0, 5) and at (0, -5)
