do computers with onboard videocards have a lot of trouble adapting to an offboard video card, or is my first hp the exception to the rule
thank you
na, don't forget to turn off you onboard in the bios!
No, Not really.
You disable on board one in system BIOS. save info.
Turn off the computer.
Install new add-on Video card with proper drivers.
Turn ON the computer
It should work,
All the Best.
Normally if you install an AGP graphics card , your system should detect the AGP install!!
Are you sure you plugged the monitor to the AGP slot??
no, and no.
log into the BIOS and change your primary display adapter form pci to agp and that should fix your issue.
