There will always be a double standard. We need to get used to that fact. For a republican, such actions would be career ending. For democrats, such actions are career enhancements. It's practically a fact of life.

If McCain had many, many decades later attended a get together with someone who bombed an abortion clinic but at the present time was a college professor and McCain sat on boards with him, it would not be an issue...Now, White Supermacy groups (KKK) and their history in this country comapred to Rev.
