There will always be a double standard. We need to get used to that fact. For a republican, such actions would be career ending. For democrats, such actions are career enhancements. It's practically a fact of life.
If McCain had many, many decades later attended a get together with someone who bombed an abortion clinic but at the present time was a college professor and McCain sat on boards with him, it would not be an issue...Now, White Supermacy groups (KKK) and their history in this country comapred to Rev. Wright's history in this country you are saying it is the same thing...Really????? (NOT THE SAME THING) Wow, Look at how people in this country react to Muslims/ and Middle Eastern people and that was after only one incident (9/11)...Can't imagine, why there are groups of balck people who are still angry about the whole slavery thing and segragation thing...I am not condoning racism...I am just saying until you can understand the sentiment they hold we can't move forward...
There would not be such a candidacy. The media would never allow it.
The media would, of course, give him some credit if he had run for the Illinois senate, in 1996, as the New Socialist Party party candidate as Obama did.
You haven't read the transcript of that sermon, have you. Not a question. It's obvious you haven't.
Answer me this. If Rev. Wright is SOOOOO anti-white and black supremecist, how come, of all his sermons, 20 years worth, there is only a single thirty second clip of him saying ANYTHING inflammatory?
Is this the best you guys can come up with? His pastor might be racist? Really?
McCain associates himself with folks that hate Catholics and Jewish friends that hate people that are not like them, they hate other groups and McCain may not support abortion but he does not support life, he is a wife cheater, and uses women all he can and everyone else that he can soak a penny out of

Absolutely they would, along with all the Obama supporters. But it's ok for a Dem to do this type of thing.
Of course, but they cream their shorts for Rev Wright Jr.
I think that you just pretty much summed up what is often referred to as a double standard.
