Improper Computer Shutdown HELP?
I recently tripped over my powerbar that my computer was plugged into and it got instantly shut off , i am worried i may have damaged my computer in some way , does anyone know how i can check or scan my disks or something to make sure everything is fine , i am very worried

no worries. I don't know why MicroSoft makes such a big deal out of this. That scary "your computer was not shut down properly" question should usually be answered with "start windows normally"
It will be fine you will have loosed every thing that you hadn't saved though
there is no problem.open> help and support center(?).for chkdsk.my computer,right click C, properties,tools tab.check now.check both boxes.it may say cannot chek.... do you want to sched... when restarted,yes. restart it.
