I got the piercing three months ago and I've been having problems with it for a while and it seems like it's getting worse. My entire ear is a lot more hard and inflexible than it used to be, the skin around the holes is white and flaky, and swollen and bumped up pretty bad. The worst is the upper outside hole, where the skin looks like it's growing around the jewelry. When I slide it up, the skin retains the same raised, curved shape where the ball sits. It also secretes some fluid that could be pus but I'm not sure. I've been cleaning it as recommended.
I have keloids (excess scar tissue on healed wounds. I have scars that pooch out a little instead of being flat) but I've had my lobes pierced twice in each ear with nothing bad happening so I didn't think anything would happen with this either.
Thanks in advance for any responses.

When I got my Industrial, it was pretty much how you are explaining yours. I cleaned it every day to every other day to keep it from getting infected. I used warm water and mixed it with salt, and that cleaned it right up. It will be like that for around 6 months to a year. But Industrials take a while to heal for everyone, so I think you will be fine! Just make sure its cleaned on a regular basis!
