the intel "HD 3000" is a generic speed indicator...not a physical card...it only denotes its ability . Since Intel doesn't make HD "cards" its internal graphics or "on board"...Intel is not know for graphics and there internal graphics (Integrated) is poor to say the least! If its a laptop your looking at for gaming...look elsewhere!..If it "on board" the mother board it better have a PCIe x16 slot..if you want good graphics! You would need to buy a video "card"!
