Need advice.
Last year at this time I worked at Wet Seal for 2 months.
Just last week I re-applied at another location for a part time job.
I had an interview as soon as they saw me for the next day.
Upon arriving yesterday I was told the manager would be with me shortly, then an assistant gets off the phone and tells me I am not re-hireable. Since I knew that was false I asked who I can call to get it resolved she informs me the old store.
I left on great terms and call the store, Tessa (whom was not a manager) had a problem with me but I never made anything of it and said I was "terminated" I told her I wasn't and then told both managers at the time were fired.
I go back into the store and tell her if she can call corporate, she does and guess what I am hireable so that other girl lied. They interview me and I start on the 28th.
I called corporate 5 minutes ago and they told me I am hireable and have a totally clean folder.
I call today to schedule day to fill out tax paperwork and assistant says they called to make sure I was hireable, again and was told I was terminated for a short drawer. I never even worked on drawer and know that wasn't true being as I just called.
What do I do now?
I called corporate and am asking for proof of hirability and taking it in because this other girl I used to work with obviously is lying to them and they are believing it. They even said they want me but can't hire me because she said that.

Contact the department of labor on this. This kind of flip-flop is not acceptable
