I'm a Junior and a Environmental Science major with a concertation in biology im thinking about continuing my education in Ecology but does it have to ability to lead to a good, paying career?
It depends on your idea of a "paying" career. Careers involving environmental science majors have an average yearly salary of $77,000. For a list of specific career and the average salary, see the link below:
"Environmental Science" has very little credibility. It is full of people who are semi-educated, shrieking nuisances who get in the way. Jobs in this field are scarce — only large companies and wasteful governments can afford to keep parasitic Environmentalists on staff. The main purpose of such staff is to be trotted out when the news media starts probing around.
Engineering Engineering is marginally better and more lucrative, but even Environmental Engineers get no respect from other Engineers, and are seen as interfering busybodies.
You are fortunate enough to be majoring in an area (implying that you attend a university of some sort) and you cannot use "an" properly? You don't deserve AN answer.
Just kidding. Environmental science is a fledgling field of study, but with its youth comes many rising job opportunities: as we learn about the environment and how we interact with it, we will create sub-fields of study. Thus, you have more jobs! Enjoy working as a hippy volunteer for many years before you work your way up towards anything worthwhile though :\. Take up communications; that's a promising major XD!

This path often leads to good careers, but they usually do not pay particularly well in comparison to engineering, for example.
