Godzilla is a very intelligent animal that protects his home, the planet Earth, from much more dangerous threats. He defends the planet solely for territorial purposes, just like how a lion defends his land and pride from intruders. Godzilla has little regard for humanity and makes no effort to protect human life or property. He hates humans because they are ones who woke him up and burned him alive with their nuclear bomb tests, which turned him into a giant radioactive indestructible monster. In most of his appearances, when humans attack him with their weapons and military, he either ignores them or defends himself and fights back, basically what a real animal would do. When there is another giant monster attacking a human city, Godzilla will arrive not to save the city, but to combat and eliminate the threat. After his enemies, he either returns to the ocean or he proceeds to destroy the city himself. Would Godzilla be considered a chaotic neutral character? He is not a good guy or a bad guy, he just does whatever the hell he wants.

It depends.
In some Godzilla movies, he's just a monster. In that case, yes.
In other Godzilla movies, he's a good monster, sort of like a giant radioactive superhero. In that case, no, he's good.
I watched several those godzilla films,I believe its quoted in godzilla 2000,It protects us "its inside us"
though its wild creature
I think that morality like that doesn't apply to him. He doesn't appear to be sentient, and acts off of instincts, not moral desicions.
