Mallorca and Majorca is the same place in the Balearic Islands, South of Barcelona and East of Valencia, in Spain.
It is the biggest one of the bunch and its name in Spanish is Mallorca which in English is given as Majorca on account that the double "L" in Spanish is pronounced as "J'.
Not a very nice place Most of the bars etc. in the tourist areas it will be between 8-15ºC on average. But the sea's will be rough and cold... but it depends where you are... in Cala d'or it will be warm but in Serra de Tramuntana there will be snow because of the mountains. you can look at Iberia, and take a flight from the Mainland. or a boat. I know Menorca is the same and it use to be the only way was to go to Madrid to fly there in Winter. Now they have many more flights. It won't be hot... you won't be able to sunbathe and many things will be shut because it's not the "tourist season" if it was a sunny vacation you wanted, in December I'd suggest going somewhere further South
