Is marijuna completly legal in colorado & washington?
I heard this on the news that these two states legalized weed and did some research and it turned out to be true but I was wondering what's the laws on it over there?
AsI are conscious of it the regulation does no longer take result until eventually Dec 6-12 and a three hundred and sixty 5 days in the previous its waiting to be offered in liquor style shops What the feds do is yet another question and for the reason that they compelled up the ingesting age to 21 who's acquainted with what tricks they are going to employ. i'd say it truly is a 50/50 that in a three hundred and sixty 5 days you'd be an ble to legally purchase pot in Washington State
I don't know about Colorado, but in Washington, you have to be over 21, buy it at certain locations, and their are other rules, like driving under the influence.
It hasn't been set up yet. It's still against federal law. And we don't want a bunch of stoned slackers showing up in the state.
Is still a Federal Crime, so while it may be allowed to use it in one state a federal LEO can still detain and or arrest. Moonshine is illegal in many states, but one can brew beer in almost every state. Once the states crunch the numbers, they figure is better to have 50,000 tax paying citizens that might smoke a weed rather than have 50,000 Felons sitting in a prison for a non violent act.

Not yet.
The laws approved by voters will be challenged by the US Dept of Justice. Marijuana is still illegal at the national level.
So, plan on these laws being challenged in the federal court system, all the way to the Supreme Court. Probably take 2-3 years for the dust to settle.

It is arithmetic in its most basic form.
I think the state-law in Colorado is:
If you are 21 or older you can carry an ounce on your person, and grow/own up to 6 plants.
In colorado, it's only legal if you're over 21, and buy an ounce or less.
It wont be legal until the law is implemented.
if your over 18 it is legal
