he was elected largely because he was a symbol. people had no idea what they were voting for or ever checked his record or actually listened to what he was saying. check the exit polls in 08 to verify. he was running behind mccain in 08 when the economy tanked, too close to the election for mccain to recover or he may not have won then. he never should have been re-elected in 12 based on his record alone but when you have the media in your pocket, it makes you difficult to beat. the president got a pass and everything romney did was scrutinized and analyzed to make him look bad. the media had too much invested in obama and still won't do their jobs. their coverage on the scandals is non-existent for the most part, but they have plenty of time and space to cover the zimmerman-martin trial. they hail everything he, pelosi and reid say as if it came down from heaven and repeatedly bash republicans. this president was not qualified for the job by any stretch of the imagination and he has proven it for over 5 yrs. now. he is a good orator who can't speak without a teleprompter. look in the dictionary for the definition of empty suit and you'll find a picture of obama.
