When the Palestinian state is created, all agree there should be a corridor between gaza and west bank. How can this be done? Are there examples of this from the rest of the world that has a similar feature?
Anybody have an alternative approach to solve this problem?
Update:Many of the lands were bought, 5-8% of bought lands is a lot. Because, arabs barely owned any lands in that land, they lived under absentee landlords. Before that, they lived under the ottoman empire (350,000 arabs not 10 million) and had difficulty paying rent. Therefore, offering massive amounts of money to landlords and the ottoman empire was too easy.
Update 3:Palestine was also written over Jordan as well BTW.
Update 5:"2 connected viable states: one for the Jews and one for the Arabs. "
This is my question......where is this connection and how? You simply answered with my question.

The only logical solution is to do land exchange, the bridge or tunnel are not a logical solution, Why ???? you ask why, I'll tell you why, first shot, first bomb goes off, bridge-tunnel-road will be closed.
Who exactly are these "all agree"?
What would be the nature of this corridor anyways?
Would it basically be a thin piece of land that is to be part of a future state of Palestine whose purpose is to connect Gaza and the West Bank as a single state? If so, then such a thing would disconnect two parts of Israel. If you are then going to ague that having a disconnected Israel is not such a big deal then why doesn't the argument apply the other way?
Other things you'll have to factor in: As of now, Hamas is ruling is Gaza while Fatah is still dominant in the West Bank. This situation has led some people to start talking about a THREE state "solution".
And the other obvious factor: That the creation of any Palestinian state must lead to peace. Peace is defined as including the existence of the State of Israel and that existence recognized by all involved. Since due to the radicalization of the Palestinian Arabs that has become less and less likely, all talk about whether there should be a corridor or not really misses the point.

"Most people would be surprised what you can get from books written by Palestinians. Although they are pro-Palestinian, they tell as much truth or more than the pro-Israeli books."
As much truth if not more? What kind of drivel is that? Are you trying to argue that two opposing points have equal validity regarding what is correct?
And if that is the case, how exactly do you make such a determination? I would agree with you that there is a lot of websites out there with lots of garbage information trying to push a particular agenda but have you ever seen the inside of a large bookstore? Same thing going on there except they cut down more trees for it and expect you to pay for it.
it is achievable. If Israel diverts a number of the money it spends on its protection stress to assist set up a robust, rich, secular Palestinian state interior the West monetary institution and Gaza, and if Hamas recognises the lifestyles of Israel, i think of the conflict could be resolved. no longer see you later in the past, the Northern eire problems regarded further unsolvable, and now the area is basically at peace. i'm confident.
The 181 UN resolution is right the answer to your concern where you have 2 connected viable states: one for the Jews and one for the Arabs.
I do think this is the only way for final peace all other solutions are only temporarily and not viable to both people.
This is the law of the land where both states were created by 181 resolution.
Kevin,
The Palestinian state is not created, but they are trying to re-create it !
First, Samsoum has a logical answer, but unfortunately can't be done, all other answerers are seeking the 2 points.
Maybe as most of ZIonists are saying that Arabs were offered lands against peace but they refused lands and peace, in my opinion cause they don't have another choice but to refuse all kinds of bargains, what Palestinians need is their land, all rubbed and raped lands of Palestine.
Palestine will be back soon.
Listen son, I asked my Grandpa to show me Israel on his maps.
He was a seaman the old coot! lol!
Guess what! All of them maps have the word Palestine written all over Israel.
There were no Jews 80 years ago!
Them are new folks. So I suggest you stop writing lies in this here section or otherwise I ll have to go down the street and drag my "lovely" Jew neighbor's son and make him write to you the truth. Right here at YA!
Of course that boy agrees with us. Thomas
A Teleporter. I've got a feeling they will be invented before the Palestinian state is created.
Answered a few days ago, two states.
1.Gazastan.
2.Westbanktinan.
2 separate states, hamasistan and fatahistan. maybe they can have a road.
"Their" road is already built.
