no they dont. the only way they would know the music or vids you have is if you got them from the itunes store, but i don't think they take that into some kind of consideration, or really even care.

I believe that they have an idea of what you purchase, because when you go to the home screen and scroll down a bit, you will see a section that says just for you. It has some suggestions of what kind of music you like, and will give you an idea.
