Is it the same to say しらべる and ちょうさする , as one is a verb and the other is a noun?
しらべる and ちょうさする have the same meaning in general.
But right translations are a little different.
しらべる can be translated into “look into (a dictionary)”, but ちょうさする can’t be.
e.g.
わたしは じしょで しらべる。 = natural
わたしは じしょで ちょうさする = unnatural
If you want to know in detail, please add detail.
If I have time and ability I will じしょで しらべます。(Not じしょで ちょうさします)

"しらべる 調べる" and "ちょうさする 調査する" are both verbs meaning "to investigate."
Just "ちょうさ 調査" is a noun.
"まなぶ 学ぶ" and "がくしゅうする 学習する" both mean "to learn."
Just "がくしゅう 学習" is a noun.
Noun plus "- する" makes the verb, but Japanese verbs aren't limited to this pattern.
