Japanese Romaji to english translation.?

Hello, I've written a small message for a friend who is returning to Japan soon. I am trying to learn Japanese, so I've composed a small message in Romaji (I think it's called Romaji). I was wondering if someone could check its accuracy.

(friend's name) he, Kinga shinnen akemashite omedetou gozaimasu Omoshiroi ne futari de eigo to nihongo no benkyou shiteiru. No sandoitchi ga tabe rarenaidesu! Watashi wa mata anata ni aitai to omoimasu. Matarenrakushimasu, (my name) yori.

It's supposed to say: To (friend's name), Happy New Year. It was fun studying Japanese and English together. Your sandwiches are inedible (He eats these ridiculously large sandwiches, perhaps someone knows something I could add to the end of this). I hope to see you again. Take care. From (my name).

Have I made any terrible errors? I have only recently started learning Japanese and have used online resources to help me, so I assume there are some bad errors.
