you do know that putting the dog outside in the weather changes when they have kennel cough will make it worse. its a virus, they need antibotics. my dogs never had kennel cough from a vet visit. they can get it from dogs running around. the air and so forth.

You really put your poor, sick dog outside because she was throwing up! Shame on you!

That being said, I have heard putting them in the bathroom with a hot shower running helps. The steam from the shower soothes the coughing. I am not sure how well it works
