we need to come up with gay 'marriage' that does not offend the religion of the majority but protects the civil rights and preserves the legal right of a person to spend their life with who they choose and have all of the legal rights of a 'married' couple
yes i am a christian a conservative and a bisexual, and can see this issue from all points of view, i cannot imagine wanting to commit to a man for life and having some religious nutcase telling my partner that he could not make decisions for me if i were sick. But i also understand the religious connotation of marriage between a man and a woman And the hell with it while we are at it who;s business is it if i want to live with both a man and a woman in a committed relationship
Woh that's crazy! Are we like going back in time now because it seems like it! I don't get why people say gay people doom nations because it seems like we help them a lot. Canada is doing perfectly fine with gay marriage but the more things America bans the worse it gets. It seems like America has been doomed by being to intalerant.
Churches can ban what ever they want. Churches are a Collection of like minds. If there aren't any Churches in your area that matches your beliefs, start one. TA-DA problem solved
They aren't banning interracial marriage. They will not accept biracial couples as members nor will they allow them to participate in any type of leadership role in the church. I'm waiting for the government to get after these people. Another chance for Obama to trash our Constitution. There is freedom of religion....even if you don't like it.
