are you a neat freak who is OCD w. everything or a lazy bum who doesn't care about being organize and throws things around as if they where going to disappear ??
I throw things around, and just don't care. I'm very disorganized. In all my school years, I've always had tons of random papers, english in my math binder, tons of stuff falling out of my locker, etc. But my system works for me. The people in my house always complain about mess, and if something drops, I don't even really care, but of course they have to get fussy. If i had my own place I might take better care of things though.
Btw, I think someone can be responsible while at the same time, a mess maker. Being lazy is different than just throwing things around, and not caring.
I am a RESPONSIBLE Homeowner (but not to the point of OCD). At times I am going through my Photographs (To choose those to Mat/Frame for Entry into various Art Events/Fairs (and my Drawings too)) ... things can get pretty disorganized as I put them out -- side by side and see which ones end up being BETTER visually. It can mean that 20-30 images/drawings are out at a time ... and that can cover the floor of my entire Great Room (and then my Office is stacks of Frames and Matting Supplies too).

I like things to be neat, and I get a great sense of pride when they are.
