to hit the glutes with the leg press you want to use a shoulder width stance and use a full range of motion. basically you want to lower the weight as far down as possible.
Yeah Leg Press will work. about 3-4 sets of 8-10 reps. You gotta go down, and kick it up, and go all the way down again.
Leg Press works out the Quads and the Glutes. It kinda works out calves, and hamstrings, but not as well as lunges, leg curls (hamstring), and Calf raises.
Squats work much better for Glutes, if you go all the way down with a good amount of weight to handle.
stand straight, lift your leg back, keeping it straight, as far back as you can. Do this several reps for each leg. You will feel the effect on your glutes.

Leg presses are great cause it works, the inner thighs, outer legs, glutes and hams, but it work make you butt bigger, it helps to tone and tighten
