details: I live in Hawaii, and my sister lives in LA. I graduate High School in two years. Anyway, I LOVE the UK, I just love the atmosphere there. I love their culture and everything. LA seems nice, but I am terrified of earthquakes. I know some aren't that bad, but you never know. Thing is, I want to be a PART TIME makeup artists, but idk if London has many oppurtunities for that. What should I do?
Update:oh, and if I go to LA, I think I will live with my sis for a while

As you are not a citizen of the EEA (European Economic Area) you cannot just up sticks and move to the UK...or any other part of the EEA. If you have a shed load of money to invest it wouldn't be such a problem, however if you don't then you are going to need a work permit and to get one of those you will need a skill that is in high demand here. I don't think a make up artist would be on the high skills list.
You can find all the rules and regulations at this Government Border Agency site...

You would also find that London is one of the most expensive places in the world to live!
I just answered your other question but I'll answer this aswel.
In LA you get nice weather, if you like the city you should come to London, its lively and busy and the nightlife is good but you can't just move like that. You need to first apply to a make-up school over here and then let the visa people know you have an offer because if you try to get a job over in London at your age with no experience you won't be able to get a visa, unless a family member lives here and you would move in with them. It would be easier for you to go to LA but its about what you want.
Also when you get a place in London, in university over here we don't have dorms we have student houses that in the first year of university you can share with about 5 people, it then goes down as the years go on, but unlike college in LA where you have to stay in a dorm the first year in London you can have your own place while going to university, the UK is less strict, drinking age is 18 in the UK and you only have to stay in school til 16 here..but most people either go into college then university or sixth form, also it is easier and cheaper to get to Europe flights to spain can be about 100 pounds if your lucky so you could then work abroad.
It will be easier for you to go to LA as your sister is there, Hawaii is part of the US so you wouldn't have to bother getting a work visa for the UK, either way with the job you will have to start from the bottom, UK may have the fashion industry and a smaller film industry to get started in, but personally if I wanted your career and had the chance I would move to LA, not only will you get to be with your sister, but you have a greater chance at getting the career you want. Not to insult London, heck im sitting in an office in london now, still you could try getting the experience in LA then if you still want to then move to UK.
