I have a 1997 elantra and I lost all electrical power to the car while driving, the heater, clock, radio, headlights, dashlights and wipers even my blinkers won't work.. the battery was replaced new last month. and i just replaced the alternator at the end of last year .I just had the alternator tested and it tested good. If i let the car sit for 4 or 5 hours the car will start up and i can drive a ways but I continue to lose all electrical power to the car and the battery is being drained. Is there anything else besides the alternator and battery that could be making these problem happen??

cheak the electrical genrater if problem repair it other vise no prob dude
check the battery connections, both on the battery and the ground for the battery (usually right on the frame near the battery or to the engine block)
the odd thing is is that (what im getting from your explanation) youre losing power even with the alternator generating current.
The only other thing i can think of is a parasitic draw, thats when a device in the car is pulling a current at all times, draining the battery but that would be one serious parasitic draw to kill the power when the engine is running.
take it to a shop if none of the above seems to be the problem.
buy american next time.
