I have really wanted to move to America specifically Los Angeles for around two years now, I am at sixth form college going to uni at the end of this year to study sports psychology. After this I really want to move to America and start a new life there as I am not happy in England anymore, do you think this dream will ever be a reality? Any ways you know I can make this happen?

Start applying for your green card now and wait about 10 years.
What exactly are you going to study? For example, if you intend to study law, spending a year in the USA to study law would be a huge waste of time because laws in the USA are different from laws in the UK.
What's funny is that there are LOTS of people from LA who want to move to England. You're probably wondering, "Why!? What's so special about England!?" Yeah, we're saying the same thing to those from England that want to move here.
Hahahaha its funny cause most kids here in America want to move to England.
Los Angeles isn't even that great. You're more than likely just going to be disappointed when you get here. Its pretty nasty..I mean yeah there are SOME nice areas but not many. When I was there it was so dirty, polluted, the air was like...eww you could like reach out and grab it...just smoggy as hell. The water isn't that nice, it is FREEZING and its also pretty dirty. Its expensive, plus people there are morons.
If I were you I would look into moving somewhere else in America first, there are many other great places...like Miami. Miami is pretty much a smaller, more clean Los Angeles except with better beaches, and nightlife, and its not nearly as expensive....plus Miami seems to be the place everyone is crazy about now. After living in some other place for awhile THEN maybe if you still wanted to, you could work towards moving to LA.
(I've lived in Los Angeles and many other places in America and honestly I would MUCH rather be in England.......in fact when I move to England in the future I am NEVER coming back)
the grass is always greener on the other side I've wanted to move to England my whole life but if you really want to move I would start applying for a green card?(don't exactly know what they are called) It will take some time for it to be processed and there arent a lot of jobs over here. It's tough everywhere and you'll probably hate LA after a while too.
It seems like the majority of UK teens/young adults dream of moving to the U.S. I wonder why. These questions show up everyday on Yahoo! Answers.
Anyway, go to the U.S. Embassy in London for information and to apply for a visa.
Just out of curiosity, out of all cities in the U.S., why did you specifically chose Los Angeles? I'll tell you this: The real L.A. is nothing like you see on TV or the telly.
Yes, it is just a dream.
Like you have been told multiple times in the last few days. You can't just move to the United States because you want to. It will take 10+ years for legal immigration.
As an American citizen, I can't just move to the UK either.
la is extensive--it extremely is why it extremely is often divided into various areas. West L.A.= prosperous areas like Beverly Hills, Malibu, Brentwood, Bel-Air etc. maximum celebrities stay in this area for obtrusive motives. top center classification-top classification status. North L.A.= "The Valley"--this is, the San Fernando Valley. center classification suburbs. South L.A.=poorer neighborhoods of L.A. East L.A.= poor neighborhoods of L.A. proper L.A= downtown L.A. not so effective component of L.A. the two. you are able to in lots of circumstances spot celebrities finding out to purchase at Rodeo force in Beverly Hills, sunset, or close to the seashores in Malibu. I certainly have yet to fulfill a action picture star although..
