details: I live in Hawaii, and my sister lives in LA. I graduate High School in two years. Anyway, I LOVE the UK, I just love the atmosphere there. I love their culture and everything. LA seems nice, but I am terrified of earthquakes. I know some aren't that bad, but you never know. Thing is, I want to be a PART TIME makeup artists, but idk if London has many oppurtunities for that. What should I do?
Update:oh, and if I go to LA, I think I will live with my sis for a while

Is is (almost) impossible for an American to get a work visa in Britain, as it is for a Brit to get one in the U.S. So you can scratch London off your list. The Brits don't mind us vacationing there and spending money, but they don't like us coming there and take jobs away from their citizens.
Understand that California has the second highest unemployment rate in the country. Jobs are almost non existent, and landlords won't rent to people that don't have a job. If your sister isn't willing to allow you to stay with her save your money and stay in Hawaii.
LA!
You already have earthquakes in Hawaii, so you can deal with that.
Living with your sister will make it MUCH cheaper to live, and actually give you a chance at making it.
The weather in LA is closer to Hawaii than London is.
You don't need a visa to move to LA.
Easy!
You won't need a work visa in L.A. You probably won't be able to get one in London. That's just a point to ponder.
You could possibly do both: each short-term and make connections, learn people and the area, etc.
