I need to lose a 100 pounds by February at latest. How could I do that?
Update:Also I don't have a way of getting to the gym and I can't exercise outside.
Update 3:Quit saying "It's impossible" people. It is possible because I've seen people do it. I just don't know how they did it. It doesn't do me any good if you don't give me any good advice.
Update 5:I don't care about the "steady" way of losing it. I just want to do it where I'm thin and as long as my skin doesn't sag. I don't have a problem with self control so munching or anything won't be a problem.

Starts exercising twice a day. Resistance training (4 days on 1 rest day = very important) and cardio 30-45 min.
Remove all sugars, fat and most (added) sodium from your diet. Increase your protein intake and drop your calorie intake to about 1500 cal spread over 5 small meals.
7:00 rice cake and protein shake
10:30 plain yogurt (1 cup + 2 TBS of plain oatmeal)
1:00pm 100 cal microwave popcorn bag
3:00pm plain yogurt (1 cup + 2 TBS of plain oatmeal)
6:00 meal less than 500-750 calories
Go to the gym on an empty stomach. Do high rep exercises. Do your cardio in the evening after your last meal. Drink lots of water.
Find a good multivitamin/mineral pak to supplement your diet
I am trying to lose weight at the moment. 100 pounds in five months will be a huge challenge - i think you can do at least 50/60 pounds at say 3 pounds a week and this will be a fantastic achievement. Best way to achieve this amount of weight loss would be "steadily" & "sensibly". Look at what you are eating - you need no more than 1000 calories per day - eat good food (no crisps, chocs, biscuits, cakes, sugar, fatty fried food) plenty of fruit and veg, lean meat. oily fish. Exercise moderately at first - swimming is good, walking is also good - remember the more you exercise the more you will want to do it - it's kind of addictive! Once the weight starts to come off you will be encouraged to carry on - I have lost about 20 pounds in 10 weeks, my clothes are starting to get loose, I think I have dropped at least two dress sizes. So if I can do it so can you - keep in touch by email with me if you like [email protected] we can support each other! Good Luck x
At 4 lbs a week max, you could lose 76 lbs by early Feb but it would take hard work, diligence, and LOTS of self control with the holiday season (aka lots of goodies) coming up.
Any weight loss faster than 4 lbs/wk greatly increases your chances of not being able to keep it off long term. It's more likely that 1 or 2 lbs will be your norm, as that is more easily doable and you're less likely to get fed up with a strenuous/strict program to get the faster weight loss.
Do not skip meals, do not drop calories below 1200 a day. Do eat 4 - 6 small meals a day, do eat a healthy, well-balanced diet, do drink LOTS of water, do exercise at least 1 hour a day at least 5 days a week.

Good luck!
Make sure to have a check up with the doctor. There may be a medical reason you are overweight.Have you ever been checked for Cushing's syndrome ?PCOS ?
100 lbs is a very difficult goal. Try working on five pounds at a time. That way you can have many successes.
your best bet is to talk to a dietitian and find an eating plan that works best for you.
I wish you the best.
Surgery
you would be better off trying to lose 40 lbs in that time. 40 is plenty enough to see a difference and much more healthy than 100 (in that time frame). I have found with weight loss it is much better to make smaller, shorter term goals. for example say I will give myself 4 weeks to lose 6 pounds. Even better yet instead of making the goal weight loss, make your goal eating better that is something you can measure everyday, and weightloss will be a by-product.
Without surgery? I don't think that losing 100 lbs in 5 months is healthy. A healthy weight loss is 1-2 lbs a week. Any more than that is just not healthy to lose.
Even if you starve yourself, 100lbs is unreal. You need to set reasonable goals. 20lbs in a months can be done, but it's unhealthy if you continue every month. The only thing I can think of is fasting like Jesus for 40 days and 40 nights and that will probably only yield about 35lbs if you exercise with it.
You would have to lose about 5lbs a week for 20 weeks. This is too aggressive. At 3lbs a week, you would have lost about 60lb. Three pounds a week is more doable than 5.
You should have started few months ago. Eat less and eat correct, then exercise 20 min four times a week.
In other words, burn more calories than you take in.
well drink plenty of water!!! i mean with every meal and eat three meals a day but instead of eating your normal amount; half of that portion and eat fruit for snacks instead of like chips and things of that nature... if you do like to work out, try going to the gym atleast once or twice a week for like 45min. it will help trust me...
