So, I was just taking a bike ride around the near cul-de-sac, and my neighbor was walking his dog to the mailbox (our mailboxes are further away, not right infront of our houses). While I was riding my bike, I heard a noise... it was coming from my neighbors (the neighbor who I saw walking his dog) house. I stopped the bike, and I looked behind me, and I saw a small (not TOO small but it was small) little kitten meowing at me. It was coming up to me, and she was starting to run up to me. I was pretty cautious, since I didn't know if it had rabies or not. I started riding my bike the way where my house is, and I looked behind me and this kitten is running, following me. I stop the bike again, get off the bike and get on my knees and call this kitten over "here kitty kitty". She seemed pretty scared now, so I continued to get back onto the bike and slowly ride back the side where my home was. My neighbor was done getting his mail (the neighbor where the cat came from) and I kindly asked "Excuse me; do you know whose kitten this is?" and he replied "No, I do not. My dog chased him up the tree a few minutes ago" and I said "Aw, she was following me on my bike" I began "she may be lost...".
Basically, he doesn't know whose cat this was either. We ended the convo and I went back home. The kitten got scared when she saw the neighbors dog, so she went in the bushes. My neighbor went home, and I started to drive around the road where the kitten was. She came out of the bushes, still meowing loudly. I just went home, thinking she would follow me but she didn't and just sat on someone elses yard.
As I arrived home, I immedietely told my parents and sister. After 5 minutes, I went back to that cul-de-sac. I THOUGHT I heard her meow, but when I looked where her meow was coming from I saw someone else closing their garage. I went around that cul-de-sac about 3 or 4 times thinking she'd come out of where she was, and I thought I heard her meow. It sounded like it was coming from that house. The thing is, when I was trying to get that kitten to come up to me, the guy that lives in that house (the house I THOUGHT I heard her inside), he was cutting his grass and he SAW the kitten running after me, and he SAW me trying to persuade it to come up to me. If it were HIS cat, wouldn't he say something to me?
I'm just afraid this kitten will get hit by a car, because I live near a main-street and the last thing I'd want is for this innocent kitty to get hurt. The only thing I'm trying to do is HELP this cat; not steal her or ANYTHING!
What would you do? Do you think it's lost? Or is it that guys pet?
I'm sorry this is so long, but before answering please read the whole thing.
Thank you very much.

The kitten could be a stray or it is lost. I honestly don't think that the men cutting his grass owns the cat because what kind of owner would let their young kitten become vulnerable to predators and illnesses? I personally think that you should persuade the kitten to come to you (using some canned food if needed) bring it to your local shelter so that it can get examined by a vet and possibly adopt it.
Please consider finding the cat as soon as you can because he/she is vulnerable to larger animals and illnesses, could get hit by a car, etc.
If you are afraid of the cat in your dream, then it suggests that you are fearful of the feminine. The dream may be a metaphor for "cattiness" or someone who is "catty" and malicious other meanings: To see a cat in your dream, symbolizes an independent spirit, feminine sexuality, creativity, and power. It also represents misfortune and bad luck. The dream symbol has different significance depending on whether you are a cat lover or not. The cat could indicate that someone is being deceitful or treacherous toward you. If the cat is aggressive, then it suggests that you are having problems with the feminine aspect of yourself If you see a cat with no tail, then it signifies a loss of independence and lack of autonomy. To dream that a cat is biting you, symbolizes the devouring female. Perhaps you are taking and taking without giving. You may be expressing some fear or frustration especially when something is not going as planned. If you dream that a cat is scratching you, then it suggests that you are feeling threatened. To see a black cat in your dream, indicates that you are experiencing some fear in using your psychic abilities and believing in your intuition. You may erroneously associate the black cat with evil, destruction, and bad luck. In particular, if the black cat is biting, clawing or attacking you, then the dream means that you must acknowledge what your intuition is trying to tell you. You can no longer ignore it. Do not be afraid to face the situation. If you see a white cat, then it denotes difficult times. *To dream that a cat killed a spider, suggests that you are expressing your femininity in a seductive and cunning manner rather than in an overtly and almost destructive way.
its okay that it's long lol and its really great that you're trying to help it ^_^ i think you should take it in and take care of it for now, that way it wont get run over or sick from cold or anything. But you should put up some lost kitten papers with a picture of it so if it has an owner they can get it back.
First, I think only rodents have rabies, correct me if I'm wrong =P
Second, if you aren't too scared of touching the kitty, just carry her to the guy and ask, and if she doesn't belong to him, then heck, keep her! =P If you want to, of course. Or you can simply abandon the poor little thing and leave it dying. Ha, just kidding. You can take it to an adoption home. :)
~Hope that helped! :)
ok well you should go ask the guy if its his cat because maybe he just wanted it to meet someone new or if not then the kitty will either show up again or it will be found by someone else and no worrys cats are usually too smart to not pay attention in the streets ^-^
