I have an 04 suburban with 230k miles on it and lately it has been making a loud noise and the abs light has been on and the brakes are acting weird. The other day the steering wheel started jerking left and right wihle driving straight at like 10 mph. Not driving it lately because its getting worse and worse. Any ideas as to what the issue is?

Sounds like you have a ball joint or wheel bearing. have the vehicle towed to a repair shop and fixed or do it yourself. To check for a bad wheel bearing jack the vehicle up nad grasp the tire at the top and bottom and attempt to move it up and down if there is a tiny bit of play it's ok it's just when there is a lot of play that you need to worry or if it's making a grinding sound. To check a lower ball joint place the jack under the control arm and take a pry bar and attempt to lift the tire if it move then the ball joint is bad and will need to be replaced
It sounds like your front wheel bearings are gone.....you can buy complete sealed hubs for under 100 each
Best bet is to get it on lift to ensure nothing else is wrong and have brakes inspected
try this. while your making use of in a straight away line, and without leaving your lane and while this is risk-free, swerve left and appropriate a pair instances. once you swerve left I wager it receives quieter and once you swerve appropriate it receives louder. if so, this is the left front hub bearing. If the contrary occurs, this is the suited front. this is authentic for the rear hub bearings too! If this is as loud as you describe, it is going to be basic to pinpoint.
