I feel as though ever since I started taking Prozac that I haven't been able to get really energetic about anything. Even after going for a run which would normally get my endorphins going and make me really energetic, and now not so much. Has anyone else had problems with low energy on prozac?

This happens sometimes. Some people's brains just really don't like an individual drug. Talk to your doctor about these things:
Reducing your dosage - Can sometimes help if it doesn't compromise treatment.
Changing to another SSRI - Sometimes a different one works better for no good reason we can find.
Switch to one of these three: Effexor, Cymbalta, Wellbutrin. These tend to perk people up and give them some more energy vs normal antidepressants
Prozac will not make you suicidal unless you have a different imbalance. Not depression, but bipolar or something to that effect.
Lexapro is another good antidepressant that I've heard a lot about.
Medicine is trial and error. It sucks. But don't give up.
The great side effect of antidepressants
Prozac is dangerous. I question your Drs integrity to even prescribe it. Prozac can make you very suicidal
If you must use an antidepressant there are better one out there.

yes thats what antidepressants do. theyre all bad for you they will numb your basic human instincts and alter your brain chemistry. sounds more extreme than it is...but really they dont help.
