Macbook Air or Macbook Pro?
I'm mainly going to be using it for photo and video editing. The Pro has better proccessing power, right?? I'm really lost on retina display, which gens have them and how many generations there are...Which has a better display?. Thanks

I would recommend the pro for photo and video editing. The pro has a lot more power. The Air is a light, portable device that is probably best for listening to music and browsing the internet. It has no cd drive or ethernet port. I'm not sure which generations can have the retina display, but I know that for most generations there is a retina version and a non-retina version. The retina display is truly beautiful. They squeeze 4 pixels into the size of 1 standard pixel to allow for vibrant color and detailed images. Its not cheap though. For video/photo editing, the retina might be worth looking into but not necessary. Hope this was helpful!

Just get a Macbook Pro...there is more memory
MacBook pro no doubt. It's future proof too....i.e. in case you wanna do something else in future, it will support it.
