Which do you think is better, and why? I'm an incoming college student, and this will be my first computer. I need help deciding which of the two I should choose?
The Air is decent, but I think the pro would be more basic with the optical disk drive. I just got mine yesterday :)
Just ignore the first comment. Smh -_-
EDIT: To the first comment, Macbooks are really good for a couple of years and they are really really difficult to mess up with a virus, I know because I had a macbook from 2008 until I finally upgraded. PCs die when your warranty is over too. (My friend's stepdad worked for Microsoft and confirmed this)
I agree, get neither. You can get one with better specs for about half the cost and you will be more than happy with it. And a PC doesn't just die when the warranty runs out. Don't listen to people saying things like "you don't want one because you can't afford it" because you get a laptop for $600-$700 that has much better specs that a Pro or an Air and will last you just as long. Don't get sucked into Apple's ecosystem and have a better experience with a Windows PC, you won't regret it.

Pro! The standard one.
