SO basically 1'm 14, and I'm 200 pounds (Yea I know....!) I should be like 130. I don't look that fat but I know that I need to loose like 70 - 80 pounds. I don't know how. I cant do too much exersize because I have ashma, and if I run around for like more than 3 minutes I cant breath. I do dance since I was 5. I LOVE IT! But then I had to quit due to the cost of lessons. Basically I feel stupid danc ing in my room. Everybody thinks that I forgot about dance, but I still miss it (I quit last year). I think I'll just dance in my room with the music quiet. I have serious food cravings. If I dont eat that thing I'm craving then I go crazy on other stuff, I also binge eat a lot. My goal is to loose 10 pounds in 2 months. I dont know how I'm going to do this without my familys support, and all my friends are super skinny. I'm so lost!! My goal seems miles away from where I am right now even though its not that big of a goal.
Update:I ahte soda guys, I keep getting recomendations to stop with the soda, but I NEVER even TRIED soda. Only sprite and I hate the fizzyness.

Lose the weight slow and steadily over time. This is the best way to keep it off. Change your eating habbits and go for heathier snacks and sugar free sodas. Be good 80% of the time and you can stop have the things you crave. Also drink plenty of water and try not to eat just before bed time. And always have breakfast. I stress to you to do it slowly. This time next year you could be 230 pounds or 170 pounds. Make the choice you want. A year seems a long time but it will fly over. Think about what you weighed this time last year and you will see where your heading if you dont change your lifestyle. Good luck
Hey I'm sixteen and I lost forty five pounds by following this diet I made up myself.
8:30 A.M Breakfast: Fiber One cereal with skim milk OR oatmeal OR breakfast smoothie (I will leave the recipe in the source box!)
10:30 A.M Snack: Three apple slices with a tablespoon of peanut butter
12:00 P.M Lunch: Two egg whites with spinach and reduced fat cheddar cheese with strawberries and purple grapes
2:30 P.M Mid Afternoon Snack: Carrots and celery with low fat ranch dressing
4:30-5:00 P.M- Brown rice with veggies and fruit
Dessert- A big bowl of peaches and blueberries! :)
I would drink eight cups of water throughout the day!
I exercised for thirty minutes everyday. Examples, dancing around my room, taking a walk, going to the gym, yoga, etc. Anything that gets you're heart rate up! Don't give up and you will reach the stars! When you are craving food, grab some water, and look at pictures of the body you want to have. It works like a charm! Never eat after dinner! Just in case you get tempted, brush you're teeth right after dinner! If you follow this diet plan then you will most likely have lost 20+ pounds by the end of the second month! You should be losing about ten pounds per month! Since you're younger, you will lose weight faster than older people because your metabolic rate is faster! Never give up! If you are willing to exercise, but have difficulty, try lower stress but longer duration activity. Go for an hour walk and listen to music instead of jogging for 30 minutes. You can still exercise (there are Olympians with severe, life threatening asthma), just make it longer and less stressful.
The key to avoiding crazing is easting early, often, and little. I know it's cliche but breakfast makes you lose weight.
The body releases a hormone that makes you RAVENOUSLY hungry if you don't eat early in the day. So if you don't eat breakfast you will binge constantly. If you simply eat a banana and some oatmeal (or whatever you like) in the morning it will cut your hunger throughout the day dramatically.
My wife is a dietitian - she never lets us leave the house without breakfast.
have you tried Youtube videos? I just found arabic belly dance series of 4 videos on youtube!! It is very easy to turn it on and do what the girls say! looks so easy to do, but isn't really that easy and is a very tough workout!! FREE!!!
also I am on a very low carb food plan! you can choose the foods you eat from http://www.mendosa.com/ and choose the ones witht he lower numbers. No breads and cereals or potatoes, etc and you will lose weight!
Slow and easy, but this all has to be a life style committment because if you totally quit the weight will come back faster than ever!! Yes, you can have a "cheat treat" occasionally, but do plan it in and have only half a serving!!

Why do you want to lose weight when you do excercises and dont look fat? Also, i think that you should lose maximum 20 pounds(or lose nothing). You can try to take a 15-30 minutes walk every day. You have a healthy weight in my oppinion. Do as i say and continue dancing it is a great excercise. Don't think you are fat, because you are not :)
you could try doing something else -sport- like netball or basketball or tennis or whatever interests you.
