1) s(25) = 6(25) - 4
= 150 - 4
= 146 (a)
2) AP = a + (n-1)d -----equ. 1
so a = 5, d = 0.2
= 5 + (0.2n - 0.2)
= 5 + 0.2n - 0.2
= 4.8 + 0.2n (a)
3) a = 8, d = -0.4
so, 8 + (n - 1)-0.4
= 8 + (-0.4n + 1.4)
= 9.4 - 0.4n (which is meant to be d, but dunno)
4) (a) = 4, 9, 14.
5) (c) = 7 ; 0.6
6) (d) = 4; 0.4
7) (c) = 40
