Could you please suggest to me any good cello songs to listen to? I love the way cellos sound and they give me great shivers just listening to them, so if you know any good cello-only, slow, melancholy [or not] songs that you yourself would enjoy? I thank you very much.
Update:and i admit that i don't know much about classical music but i deeply admire it, so any wisdom or knowledge you want to share with me, i will take it happily.

There is not such a thing as a "cello song". Songs are for voices. Pieces are for instruments.
And, to answer to your question, I recommend to you to listen the cello suites of Bach, the cello concerto of Elgar, the triple concerto for violin, cello, piano and orchestra of Beethoven, the double concerto for violin, cello and orchestra written by Brahms. For start... ;)
I'm very sorry for the grammar mistakes, if they are.
Bach's Cello Suite (forget the name) is a classic cello piece.
I suggest you look for YoYo Ma CDs. He's a wonderful cello player.
Samuel Barber's "Adagio for Strings": the saddest music I've ever heard.
"Liebestod"(Love-Death): last 5-6 mins. of Richard Wagner's opera, "Tristan und Isolde". The strings play a major role in this incredibly beautiful music. Some musical authorities claim this to be the greatest musical testament of Romantic Love ever written: I agree.
Edward Elgar's "Cello" concerto.
"The Swan" from Saint-Saens "Carnival of the Animals": cello solo with harp accompaniment.
Tschaikowsky's "Serenade for Strings".
And that's about it,
Wotan
Excellent cello piece: Kol Nidrei by Bruch
Another good way to find cello music is to go on youtube and type in "cello" or the name of a famous cellist eg. "Yo Yo Ma " or "Jacqueline Du Pre".
You will find many nice cello pieces on youtube.
