Hello i was wondering why type help or do i need help what treatments if so just looking to see what direction i need to go in.
first off iam 19 droped out of school 16 cause of extreme anxiety really.
symptoms for mental Compulsions
Special words, images, numbers, repeated mentally to neutralize anxiety, example if i think of someone that died i have to replace that with somthing postive liek a cartoon or somthig of that nature. ental erasing of unwanted mental images Mental un-doing. think that what that is called.
On the delusions part really at anytime i always see a shadow or something corner my eye or if i look at a picture for 4 sec or more it will start to morphe . Example look at a picture of a face will turn into something evil like .Or win house door is locked and i look through te peak whole i will see Burglars one time i actually called the cops.
And paranoia iam always thinking someone trying come after me and hurt me . guess kinda goes along with the delusions and 90% of the time i know there not real.
k thank you if anyone has any insight

hello, first of all... if your concerned about ha\/ing mental health issues i suggest you book an appointment with your doctor... this will help two things... either they can assure you that your a little carried away but actually your just fine or they can send you to a specialist to help you manage your mental health. id expect that doing this early could a\/oid any mental diteriation.. and if your saying your suffering anxiety, then whats better than worring about anxiety to set it off?.. through your doctor you should recie\/e the right help.... id also suggest you ha\/e a quick look at your lifestyle... their could be traumas or drug use or diet, sleep routine, or \/arious factors that could be playing a part in this. anyway my o\/erall answer is if you suspect mental health issues then see your doctor... whats the worst that can happen? =) hope this helps
You're 19. You don't suit the criteria for receiving help from CAHMs because of your age. There's probably an adult equivalent of CAHMs though. CAHMs is a service for under 18s with emotional, behavioral and mental health difficulty, I assume that the adult equivalent will do the same for over 18s.
