microsoft excel problem?
I am trying to paste in dates. Every time i paste in a date Excel changes the year to 2009. For example .. I paste in jan 1 2006 and excel changes it to jan 1 2009. I have tried everything in the format cell tab and can't get it to keep 2006. How would i go about resolving this issue. Thanks
Update:Thanks for the input. I have tried what you said already. A sample date that i am copying and pasting is Jun 22 07:34:34 2006

That's weird. Try right clicking on the cells where you want to paste the date, choose Format Cells, and choose a different category from the list, like General or Text.
